Bronze bowls like this were used by the Romans for cooking and serving food.
The bowl with flat bottom and vertical slightly flanged rim. Pattern of multiple concentric circles in the center, the rim decorated with raised and incised lines. Diameter: 21.5 cm. (8.5"). Height: 5.4 cm. (2.1"). Metal composition: Beaten from a single piece of bronze or copper with natural green, blue and brown patina. Condition: Very small crack in bottom, else excellent.
