A Mayan Polychrome Bowl, Circa 400-800 AD
A sizable hemispherical bowl with beige ground painted with red, yellow and black jaguars, head glyphs and geometric designs on the interior; on the exterior two heads each in a long cylindrical object traveling towards a red circular object. One could easily imagine the two figures in space ships traveling towards the Sun!. Mean Diameter: ~23 cm. (~9.0"). Height: ~11 cm. (~4.3").
