A large hammered sheet gold nose ring of flattened hemispherical form, Mochica, Salidar or Chorrera cultures.



This gold nose ring gives us a hint of the fabulous wealth that drove the Conquistadors and shows the excellent skills of the ancient goldsmiths. Larger than most it has been hammered from a sheet of gold. This nose ring is in an excellent state of preservation and could be incorporated into an earring or pendant if done carefully so as not to cause damage to the piece. Dimensions: 87 x 37 mm.
