5384. AN EARLY CHRISTIAN OIL LAMP, ca. 4th century. The large redware lamp with a running gazelle surrounded by floral designs on the discus. Soot deposits around wick hole. 5.8 inches. Excellent condition.



5385. AN EARLY CHRISTIAN REDWARE LAMP, ca. 4th-5th century AD. The lamp with sharp design of houses and palm and other trees around a central design which likely represents an early church on the discus. Small chip to handle tip. 5.2 inches.



5386. A ROMANO-BRITISH ENAMELED BROOCH, ca. 4th-5th century. Of rhomboidal form with inlays of white, blue and orange enamel remaining. Pin lost. 1.5 inches.



5387. A DARK AGES GILT BRONZE INLAY. Possibly Frankish or Vandalic, ca. 5th-7th century. The rectangular inlay with a molded panther on a checkered background. Traces of gilding with more on back covered by light deposits. 20 x 25mm. Better than image. Rare.



5389. A FINE BYZANTINE BRONZE BELL, ca. 6th-10th century AD. The spherical bell with incised decorations. 2.3 inches. Tiny pinhole, apparently original to the casting, otherwise excellent intact condition with original clapper. Scarce.

5399. A BYZANTINE BRONZE ENCOLPION, ca. before 12th century AD. The cast encolpion with engraved figure of crucified Christ and inscriptions on one side and figure of Virgin Orans with heads of two saints on the other. 3.2 inches.



5400. A LATE BYZANTINE BRONZE CROSS. The cross with molded images of Virgin and child and four saints. 4.5 inches.



5401. A LATE BYZANTINE SILVER ALLOY CROSS. The partial cross with three figures. 2.1 inches. The cross of a very light bronze color, likely an alloy of silver.

5405. AN OSTROGOTH BRONZE FIBULA, ca. 5th-7th century. The fibula in the form of a horsefly with original intact pin. 1.6 inches.



5406. A TATAR/MONGOL BRONZE PENDANT, ca. 12th-13th century AD. The pendant cast with floral designs both sides. 3.2 x 2.5 inches.



5407. Frankish CONICAL BEAKER, second half of IV-V cc. AD. Thick, light green ware. Tall conical form with not functional base, ground and polished rim. Three belts of multi wheel-incisions on wall. 5408. Frankish CONICAL BEAKER, second half of IV-V cc. AD. Thick, light green ware. Tall conical form with tiny flattened base ( not functional), ground and polished rim. 5409. AN IMPORTANT AND WELL PRESERVED MEDIEVAL CHILD'S SHOE, found in the river Mosel near Trier. Because of the style the shoe might be attributed to the 15th century, but the find place also produced Frankish artifacts so an earlier attribution is just as possible. 16 cm, intact. An excessively rare complete medieval shoe in a wonderful state of preservation.



5410. A FLEMISH BRASS LAMP, c. 1760's. Of three piece construction including the body, lid and stand with handle. Early North European type. 10" height. Scarce.
