5506. A HEAVY PERSIAN OR BACTRIAN BRONZE SWORD, ca. 1000 BC. The wide, heavy sword with central reinforcing ridge, square section handle with four recesses for inlays and central ridges, and wide pommel with recesses and ridges. 19.25 x 3.5 inches. Rare and choice example.



5507. A PERSIAN OR BACTRIAN BRONZE LONG SWORD, ca. 1000 BC. The long sword with central reinforcing double ridge opening into incised leaf design at hilt, flanked by quadrupal subsidiary ridges, the heavy solid bronze handle with turned ridged pommel recessed at each side to take inlays. 24 inches. Tip broken, otherwise excellent condition. Very rare.



5508. A FINE MARLIK BRONZE DAGGER. Persia, ca. 800 BC. The dagger with central reinforcing ridge, crescentic hilt and recessed handle to take inlays. 15 inches. Excellent condition.

5510. A RARE SYRIAN SILVER SPOON, ca. 1000 BC. The spoon with the head of an animal at the top, three sets of triple ring knobs on the handle. 5.2 inches. Choice condition and extremely rare.



5511. A MESOPOTAMIAN BRONZE SERPENT BRACELET, ca. 1st millennium BC. The terminal in the form of serpent heads. 2.3 inches diameter.



5512. AN AMORITE TERRACOTTA AMPHORA, 2300-1800 BC. Long stem & flared lip, flat shoulder. 6.8". Rare.



5513. A SCYTHIAN BRONZE BUCKLE, ca. 6th-5th century BC. The buckle in the form of a moose head l., ring fastener on rv. 45x32 mm. Rare.



5514. A MEOTIAN-SARMATION BRONZE PENDANT FIGURE OF A MALE, ca. 3rd century BC to 2nd century AD. Nude figure with cap, suspension loop at rear. 20mm. Cf. Ancient Beads of North Black Sea Area, Alexeyva Table 41, no. 22, Also Art Treasures of Ancient Kuban, Catalogue of Exhibition, pg. 129.



5515. AN EARLY BRONZE AGE BRACELET, about 8th century BC. Spirial bronze band with 12 twistings. The high is 8 cm. The bracelet is intact but not cleaned. A very nice green and shiny patina can partially be seen wich will come out at the whole bracelet by proper cleaning.



5516. AN EARLY BRONZE AGE BRACELET, about 8th century BC. Spirial bronze band with twistings. The ends of the bracelet is be are ornamented by snake heads. Overall on the bracelet there can be found little dots as a decoration. The high is 8 cm. The bracelet is broken two times (one in ancient time with a repair from that time) The modern damage can be easily repaired. Not cleaned. A very nice green and shiny patina can partially be seen wich will come out at the whole bracelet by proper cleaning. Same finding place as previous lot.



5517. A BRONZE AGE DAGGER, about 1000 BC. Large bronze dagger with about .5 cm missing at the top. The former wooden grip has gone but the holes and pins are at place. Length: 24.5 cm.
