8695. A DAUNIAN GREEK KYATHOS, ca. 5th century BC. The vessel with a high pronged handle rising from the rim, the body painted with bands and designs of slate blue and red, a human figure in geometric style in the center of the tondo. 5.5 x 7". Tip of one prong chipped, the handle reattached.

9016. LARGE DAUNIAN FUNNEL KRATER, ca. 4th-3rd century BC. The large biconical vessel with especially wide funnel rim, two loop and two vertical tab handles on the shoulders, designs in reddish brown and slate blue. 10.5 x 11.5 inches across handles. Body intact except for one loop handle lost, rim repaired with about 1/3 lost but displays well from the front. Rare. An impressive large piece.

The buff-ware pitcher with high looped strap handle with eyed appendage on top, the surface covered with very finely rendered geometric designs in slate blue. 7 x 8 inches. Neat repair to handle, otherwise intact and in excellent condition. An excellent example of a rare and prized type with two bug-eyed appendages atop the handle.

The buff-ware pitcher in the general form of a duck with erect tail and spout for the head, a wide looped strap handle on the top, the surface covered with nicely rendered geometric designs in slate blue and red. 7 x 9.25 inches. A choice intact example of a rare and desirable type.
