5010. A FINE BRONZE SPEAR POINT, Uncertain culture but definitely ancient. Likely Chinese, later Warring States or Early Western Han period. ca. BC/AD. 5.6 inches. Excellent olive-brown patina. Attribution of this interesting type appreciated. Not in Petrie, 'Tools and Weapons'.



5011. A SCYTHIAN EQUINE FOREHEAD ORNAMENT, ca. 5th century BC. The animal style art bronze ornament in the form of a stag's head. 1.25 x 1.3 inches. Rare.



5012. A SCYTHIAN MOOSE HEAD ORNAMENT, ca. 5th century BC. The animal style art bronze ornament in the form of a moose head, remains of two tenons on reverse. 1.1 inches. Rare.



5013. A MEOTIAN-SARMATION BRONZE PENDANT FIGURE OF A MALE, ca. 3rd century BC to 2nd century AD. Nude figure with cap, suspension loop at rear. 0.85 inches. Cf. 5014. A HEAVY ASSYRIAN STYLE FRESCO, ca. early-mid 20th century. The fresco painted with two registers in an Assyrian/Persian style, the upper register a procession of dignitaries paying homage to the great king, the lower register soldiers dispatching prisoners and a nude female prisoner chained to a bed! The piece painted on plaster over heavy masonry backing, the surface showing age. 24 x 24 x 3 inches. A large impressive display piece with considerably more detail than image shows.
